WEEK ONE

January 1st-7th 2023

My weekly blogging adventure starts here. There are so many things I want to cover. Given that this is a new platform for me, I’m going to start slow & ease into website blogging.

The first topic to be covered is the ONE goal I have for this year: 1000 hours outside.

I ended 2022 & started 2023 on a really rough note.  Due to that, I decided to go very low pressure for week one. My goal was 1/2 hour outside before noon. 

We live in Texas. Even so, there was a cold front. I’ve been bundling my baby up and setting him in his little portable bathtub to get some fresh air & blue skies in the morning for a half hour. He’s been absolutely loving it. 

Every day we successfully did 1/2 hour, amounting to 3 1/2 hours of outside time for week one!! 

Week Two (Jan 8th- 14th), I’m bumping it up to 1 hour. It’s going to be a little warmer so I think it’s extremely reasonable.

I love that you’re starting off slow it will make the transition so much easier. I can’t wait to hear about all of the activities you guys do outside over the year!
